When contented that everything is as you intended it to be, proceed to checkout where you must again finalize your order in 3 simple steps. Receipt for your order

After successfully placing your order, you will get a receipt detailing the transaction through email. Orders made using our phone service receive receipts slightly later than those done online due to lack of automation. However, if 24 hours go by without receiving the receipt, please email us at the above address and we will address that problem as fast as possible.

Payment Options

Popular debit and credit cards are accepted as is detailed by the following list: Visa, American Express, MasterCard and PayPal.

All price quotations on the company site are in Canadian Dollars. Deductions on the card you provide for payment are done in the same currency. Orders can only be released after full payment. If payment is done in part or is done at all the contents of the gift baskets are regarded as the property of the Canada’s Gift Baskets Company until such a time as the payment will be paid in full.

Information upon delivery

We deliver gift baskets across Canada and Baby Gift Baskets across Canada and USA. We like our customers to enjoy the experience of sending gifts through or company and therefore we try to avoid the problems that may come about as a result of deliveries made to countries outside North America. Addresses and postal codes given to the company must be accurate. If there is no one at home at the time of delivery the courier leaves a card with a phone number for a possible free delivery later.

We like to remind our customers that specific delivery times and days cannot always be strictly adhered to due to unavoidable circumstances. Christmas orders are all sent out in December and arrive on time. Busy seasons like Christmas mean we cannot always do a 24hr turnaround. For expedited gift baskets in Toronto, you get ahead of the delivery queue, but this is only if there is a spot available for such a provision. Progress of your package and where it has reached is always sent to you via email. Normal orders get normal dispatch treatment and take the standard time for a normal delivery.

Returns & Refunds

The company always strives to ensure that your orders arrive in perfect state. In case of any damages to your hamper or its contents please do not hesitate to inform us within 3 days of receiving the delivery via mail or phone and we will organize for the return, replacement and/or refund.

Unwanted Goods

If goods are in perfect state and the packaging is still intact, unwanted corporate gift baskets can be returned 7 days after receipt (only on official working days). All costs are the customer’s except if goods are damaged upon receipt or delivered wrongly by the company. To avoid damages to your baby gift baskets use a renowned courier for the return services. Perishable customized goods are not returnable and this is a laid down rule by the law.

Before returning items to the company please contact us. Fill in all our forms and return them along with the item. Package the items being returned for damage control and enclose the form. Upon delivery, a refund is made to your customer’s credit card.

If delivery fails, Canada’s Gift Baskets retains the decision of making a refund of up to 50% of the order value, or not, as follows:
For returns, the company can refund you the order value non-inclusive of shipping cost. If the return is due to the customer’s own error during the writing of the address for instance, shipping and any other charges are incurred by the customer. The company can charge upwards of 50% of the order value in such an instance.

Cancellations

Cancellation of baby gift baskets orders before they have been dispatched makes the client liable to pay for any losses incurred by Canada’s Gift Baskets. If cancellation happens post-dispatch, then the company can refund downwards of 50% of the order value. All refunds are within 7days and these terms do not affect customers’ statutory rights in any way.

Substitution procedures

At Canada’s Gift Baskets, we strive to deliver accurately according the customers’ orders but availability of gift items dictates what we can send or cannot. The company can at its discretion substitute one gift for another provided they are of equal or greater value than what was ordered for and only where appropriate.

Lodging Complaints

Send emails with any complaints you may have to [email protected] and address your issues as soon as possible. We shall acknowledge receipt of your complaint and send you detailed progress reports within 48hrs.

Subscription

As our customer you may get emails offering you promotions on gift baskets but these will be no more than four times every year. You may also unsubscribe from this mailing service at any time.
